Rockingstone Heights School

Back To School June 3rd

Dear Families and Guardians,

Although we have a few short weeks left of school, we are very excited to welcome your students back into the building!  Public Health has deemed schools to be a safe place to be, however if you choose to keep your child home we need to remind you that ONLINE learning will no longer be available.  Teachers and staff are back at it and preparing in-class lessons.

A few reminders:

Please make sure to go through the daily COVID checklist before sending your child to school.  Please do not send your child to school if they are sick.

Masks are mandatory for all grades while in the building (unless students are eating).  Students will need to sanitize as they enter the building.

Lunch Program for Junior Highs:  If your child is not in the lunch program, they are to go home for lunch and alternatively if they are in the lunch program they are to remain at school for lunch, unless permission to go home from the parent is communicated to the office.

Our breakfast program will be operating in a limited manner tomorrow and Friday.  We hope to have food ready for Monday.

Please make sure chrome books, chargers, and books are returned tomorrow.  We were so lucky to have had the technology to lend out and need it returned so we can continue using it while at school.

Parents of BUS students will have recieved an email confirming transportation has resumed.

Remember to send a water bottle for your child, we do not have cups to give out.  The upcoming weather looks fantastic!

We really hope we can have a successful return to school so we can collectively enjoy our summer.

See you tomorrow,
